Named after our owner’s grandfather, Spud’s Coffee, is a cafe whose atmosphere feels comforting and safe. Our cafe is intended to feel like a home away from home where people can come to have fun and express themselves openly.
Having a family history of farming, the owner, Megan Wilson, always takes pride in knowing where her ingredients come from – what makes them the best! The tastiest! When Megan was a young child, she remembers her mother driving it home by always reminding her that the best cooking is home cooking. Imagine this: a little girl and her big sister picking up a treat in the grocery store; then being told to put it back – not because we weren’t allowed to have it but – because, “we can make it, you know!” And that’s always what they did! It goes without saying that home-made is always better. So, at Spud’s Coffee we make sure we run an elevated scratch-kitchen! Not only do we know exactly what’s going into your food and drinks, but our dedicated team, that skillfully crafts all of it, adds another special ingredient you’ll rarely find anywhere else – that ingredient is TLC!
Community is known across the globe to be cultivated over great food and a warm, freshly brewed cup of coffee. Spud’s Coffee is a family business and these things are our opportunities to invite you into our home. We designed our space to be open, transparent and inspiring, while still bringing a homey and cozy air to the new wave of specialty coffee restaurants. This is a place for old souls; to bring you back to the good old days when things were simpler, while still appreciating the attention to our unique details. Our goal is to take the best parts of the past, elevate them by making them better and giving them a new purpose. Our hope is that our guests, and anyone interested, will come and learn about our offerings, getting the bigger picture of our business culture and what we are all about.
